More about Caesars Palace Las Vegas
There are a wide variety of entertainment and gambling venues to visit in Las Vegas, Nevada, but likely the city’s most famous attraction is Caesars Palace. This legendary venue and casino consistently draws in multitudes of guests, making it important to book Caesars Palace parking ahead of time with ParkWhiz. The concept for the casino was developed in 1962 by Jay Sarno. He wanted to create an opulent, Ancient-Rome themed gambling establishment where every guest would feel as if they were a Caesar themselves, hence the lack of the apostrophe in its name. The casino grew rapidly, attracting the top musical acts of the day in addition to popular boxing matches, lavish conventions while increasing commercial expansion. The Forum Shops at Caesars shopping mall opened in 1992 adjacent to the casino and was a massive success, becoming the highest grossing mall in the country. Another addition was The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which was originally constructed for Celine Dion’s “A New Day” residency in March 2003. Resembling the Colosseum in Ancient Rome, the theater can seat 4100 guests and features a 120 foot by 40 foot LED screen to help create what the audience would see as 3D stage scenery. The original casino in the complex is called Caesars Forum, which has ornate decoration with an Ancient Roman motif. The casino continues to attract a great number of visitors and entertainers every year, which can make it hard to find a space unless you book Caesars Palace parking in advance with ParkWhiz.
